You can photograph the highest peaks of the world. As you enter Paro valley, you will sweep past forested hills with the silvery Pa Chhu (Paro river) meandering down the valley below. Paro Dzong (fortress) and Ta Dzong (watchtower) on the hills above the town will be a fine sight.
On your first day at the Sanctuary you will receive a consult with trained traditional medicine doctors, your designated Well-Being Guides. They will create a customized well-being program for the duration of your stay, including a selection of wellness treatments, physical fitness activities, and a dietary advice, which the Chefs will make sure to follow in preparation of your meals if you decide so.
Today afternoon we combine some nature with culture by taking you on a short hike to the Eutok goenpa, the monastic school across the valley from the Sanctuary. Depending on your arrival time the Chefs can prepare you a packed lunch to be able to enjoy it while exploring Paro valley. Upon your return, cool down with some laps in the indoor heated pool or use any of the other wellness facilities and services the resort offers.
Overnight At Bhutan Spirit Sanctuary ( All Inclusive 5* Luxury Accommodation)
Today we leave after an early breakfast to make our way by car to Chele La. At around 13,000 feet (3,988 meters) it is the highest motorable pass in Bhutan. It is also the perfect place to hang some prayer flags, if astrologically favourable . After the 2-hours’ drive up to Chele La it is definitely time to stretch our legs. We will hike up another 1,000 feet(305 meters) and experience a 360 degrees’ view of Bhutan’s natural beauty, including the Paro and Haa valley.
From Chelela we will continue our journey higher up the ridge to Gunkharpo (4600m), the location of a sky burial ground. The trail is great for flora enthusiasts, with a huge variety of plants, and depending on the time of year thick Rhododendron bushes and even Blue Poppy. From Gunkharpo we will slowly make our way down through natural meadows and silver fir forests to our destination: Kila Gompa Nunnery, the home of nuns for many years. We will rest there, enjoy the packed lunches prepared by Chefs and after some time return

I was interested to visit Bhutan just to enjoy its scenic beauty and did not want to run around in a group tourist bus.
I just had few place of interest which included Tiger Nest Hike, meeting the monk on hilltops and see mountains.
Ms. Geeta tailored my itinerary the way I wanted.
She arranged my stay at Bhutan Spirit Sanctuary. It was a luxurious stay with great view of mountains , free spa and consultation to traditional doctor. The stay was tranquile as expected.
I also visited Tiger Nest,Chelela pass from where I could see the giant mountains and took a day excursion to capital city.
My guide and driver were attentive but not intrusive.
All in one had a wonderful and restful vacation. Would come once again to Bhutan and then it would be for a longer duration.
Well organised, flexible and informative
I chose Bhutan Best Inbound Tour based on other good reviews, the price and fast response time (booking via WhatsApp).
The admin team were very fast to arrange my trip and visa. This was a very last minute trip, only organised 2-3 days prior. I would recommend longer to ensure a guaranteed visa, however the team worked flawlessly to arrange this for me.
Upon arrival in Paro, Bhutan I was met by the fantastic Guide Tandin Wangchuk and Driver Tshewang. Both guide and driver spoke excellent English and created a relaxed, informative and flexible solo tour for me. The team were able to answer any of my questions, modify the travel plans (if necessary) and provide very enjoyable company over the 4 days. I could not recommend this pair more.
The hotels and food provided were of excellent standard. A really healthy mix of local culture with modern amenities. The itinerary provided involved all of the sites one would wish to see.
Something very unique about this company is that they give you the opportunity to light 108 butter lamps at the start of your trip for good fortune and merit. A truly unique experience which was of course included in the competitive tour package price.
Overall, I will be back and will book again with this company without hesitation.
Incredible glimpse into Bhutan’s culture
A great local tour company that arranged a bespoke tour for me for 5 days / 4 nights to see Paro, Thimpu and Punakha. Everything was seamless and so easy to communicate ahead of the travel. I cannot recommend enough to visit this beautiful and peaceful country. A huge thank you to my guide Lhab Tshering (LP) for being so kind showing me his country and so generous sharing stories about his life. He knows so much about Bhutan, its history and nature. You’d be very lucky to get him as your guide!
Family Trip With Inbound Bhutan
Sep 2024 • Family
From the moment we landed at Paro Airport to our last goodbye, this trip was far beyond our expectations. We were in touch with Deki from India itself and she gave us the right suggestions, while taking care of all our bookings. Bhutan’s rich landscapes and monasteries were a win already, but having a personal guide made it even better. Our guide, Tandin Dorji was knowledgeable, warm, and very accommodating. From making sure we were always comfortable to sharing facts & stories, it made our experience enriching. ✨ Our driver, Mr Kenzang was patient, helpful and drove with utmost safety. He took care of all the transport needs with a smile on his face. Overall, the trip was one to remember and InBound did a fab job! ☺️
Whether you’re a group of friends, solo or a family (like us), would surely recommend them for your trip to Bhutan!
I don’t know how to start telling you about Bhutan and the amazing trip we have. Everything is amazing and beyond words. I love our tour guides a lot. From the moment they picked us up at the airport to the very last minute, Tandin Wangchuk our tour guide and Jigme Wangdi tried everything they could to make the trip is wonderful, make sure we see everything we like to see, helped me with my hike to the Tiger Nest. The car is always spotless and the drive is smooth and safe. The food on the first day when we arrived was amazing. We love Bhutan food for sure. These guys worked extra time to take us around . So make patient and knowledgeable. We definitely recommend this company from the moment to start buying the tour through Viator . They did the visa for us pretty quickly. Thank you so so much for everything you have done for us. And if you haven’t been to Bhutan , you should definitely put it on the top list. This is my 110 th countries and I am loving it! ❤️
