Druk Wangyal Festival

The Dochula Festival, also known as the Druk Wangyel Tshechu, was established in 2011 under the patronage of Queen Mother Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck. It stands out from other festivals because it is entirely performed by the Royal Bhutan Army instead of the usual involvement of monastic figures. To prepare for this unique event, the soldiers undergo an intensive three-month training program in folk and mask dances. The festival commences at 9 am and concludes at 4:15 pm, offering a day filled with vibrant cultural performances.

Apart from the tshechu, this 7-day journey immerses you in the vibrant culture of Bhutan and experience the true spirit of the Himalayan kingdom. Explore the valleys of Thimphu, Punakha and Paro, and hike to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery. This tour offers a unique blend of cultural immersion, historical exploration, and natural beauty.

Magical Experience in Bhutan
One of the best tour experiences we ever had !! 👍
Thinley(and team) made the entire trip to the "Land of the Thunder Dragon" memorable. 🙂
Right from the initial engagement and planning, everything was meticulously taken care and the team was constantly in touch to provide all details and information.
They helped in customizing the itinerary as per our wishes/travel interests and took care of all the formalities/paperwork needed for entry into Bhutan.
On arrival, we had a wonderful guide and driver Tax and Pema(alongwith a nice car) at our disposal for the entire trip as we visited all the beautiful and mesmerizing places. The stay, food, travel was planned to perfection and Thinley was always available for any queries/support.
All in all, one of the best planned trips where we just enjoyed the experience and soaked in the sights Bhutan had to offer, with the rest of it taken care in the most professional manner with a "personal touch" by BHUTAN INBOUND🙏
Would definitely recommend BHUTAN INBOUND to all my friends and family who plan to visit this magical kingdom !! Just go for it🤘
