Dechenphodrang-to-Wangditse-Hike-Thimphu :

Dechen Phodrang to Wangditse hike is uphill but not streneous. 

After a visit to Dechenphodrang Monastery and capturing stunning images of young monks in their red robes, ascend through the trail towards Wangditse Lhakhang. The trail provides a fine opportunity to photograph the massive Tashichho Dzong and the Thimphu valley.

After almost an hour’s hike, you will reach the Wangdi Tse which translates as the pinnacle of Power. From there you have the option to retrace and descend the same way or take another flat route towards Sangaygang which will take about 45 minutes.
