Thongphu-Hike-Phobjikha-or-Gangtey :

Thongpgu hike at Phobjikha offers you the stunning view of Phobjikha Valley.

Following the farm road above the Black-necked Crane Information Center, enter the Thongphu Hike trail into the pine forest. After an ascend for about 20 minutes you will reach healthy woods of blue and white pine filled with mushrooms and carpets of pine needles offering a rustic feel. Continue walking along the lush valley floor of Phobjikha and on the outline pine trees. The trail runs opposite the Gangtey Nature Trail.

You will also come across many traditional Bhutanese houses surrounded by fields and villagers engaged in their daily activities.  It is a good opportunity to capture rural Bhutanese lives. The hike ends at Toktokha village after crossing two streams.
